We get lots of questions at the Paint & Body Clinic about our repair services, so to save you some time we have listed the top 10 most common questions regarding our repair services.

  • How long will you want my vehicle for?

    The average repair time is two to three working days; time scales vary from two days to two to three months.

  • Why would you have a vehicle for a long time?

    We rely on the supply of genuine replacement parts, mainly a two-day order. From time to time, certain parts are put on a "back order" which can mean that the required part is not available and no delivery date is given. In addition, if a certain part is no longer in production, the Dealers will search the country to find one in stock, which can take some time. Although rare, it happens from time to time.

  • How can I contact you?

    When leaving your car for repairs, we will give you an approximate completion repair date. You can contact us at any time via email or using the telephone numbers on the right hand side of this page if you would like to check the progress of your vehicles repairs.

  • How will I know if my car is ready?

    On completion of the repairs we will contact you to make arrangements for the return of your car.

  • When do I pay my excess? What is my excess for? How can I pay?

    All excesses will be expected to be paid prior to repairs commencing. The excess is the first part of payment for the repairs to your vehicle; the remainder is invoiced to your Insurance Company. We accept payment by most Debit and Credit Cards or Cash or Paypal.

  • Will I get a Courtesy Car?

    We will lend you one of our brand new Honda Jazz courtesy cars for the duration of the repairs, subject to availability.

  • Will my car be cleaned on return?

    Yes, we give your vehicle a courtesy clean, which is the exterior washed, and vacuum the interior.

  • Is your work fully guaranteed?

    A Quality of Workmanship Guarantee will be given to you on completion of repairs. This covers the workmanship on the repairs for as long as you are the registered keeper; all parts are guaranteed under the Manufacturers' guarantee of 12 months.

  • Do you do other work, chips, dents etc.?

    Yes, and in most cases this work can be done whilst the other repair work is being undertaken. If you would like a quote for any additional work, we can supply an estimate and agree a price with you when you first bring the vehicle in for assessment.

  • My car needs or is due for an MOT or Service, or new tyres how can I arrange this?

    We will arrange those for you. Cox Motor Group can service any make and model of vehicle. When it comes to tyres we wont be beaten on price, we offer a price match guarantee giving our customers great quality tyres at the best price possible.
